Canon has just revealed a brand new PIXMA series all-in-one printer lineup that is stylish and able to produce high-quality documents and photographs, in stock now at B&H. These compact units offer printing, scanning, and copying, and are perfect for homes and small offices where space and looks are important considerations. Every member of the PIXMA TS series even has Wi-Fi connectivity built-in, ensuring simple integration into existing systems and direct connections to mobile devices.
Starting off with the top-tier PIXMA TS9020, available in red or white, users will be impressed by the speed and quality of all prints its makes. The sleek printer features an outstanding 9600 x 2400 dpi print resolution, which ensures crisp text and sharp imagery while a 6-color ink system, which includes gray, will provide accurate color with smooth gradations. It can print at speeds of 15 ipm in black or 10 ipm in color and offers automatic duplexing for making booklets or saving on paper. This leads us to another major feature: a dual paper-feed system that includes a rear tray and a front cassette, each with 100-sheet capacities and support for legal size paper. Additional media support includes U.S. #10 envelopes and CD/DVD/Blu-ray Discs. There is also support for fine art paper, allowing for the creating of high-quality photographic prints. In addition to printing, an 8.5 x 11.7" flatbed scanner is available with an optical resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi and 48-bit internal color depth for making vivid, sharp scans and crisp copies.
One of the major highlights of the TS9020 is the connectivity options, especially the integration of NFC for PIXMA Touch & Print, which allows users with compatible devices to just hold their phone or tablet close to the printer and automatically connect and send a document for printing. The standard Wi-Fi and Ethernet networking options also enable compatibility with a variety of mobile printing services, including Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Mopria, and wireless Pictbridge, and a standard USB 2.0 connection is featured, as well. A large 5.0" touchscreen LCD provides an intuitive method for changing and viewing settings and, thanks to an auto expandable output tray, the TS9020 stays compact when not in use—while always being ready to print.
If this massive list of features seems like overkill for your home, there are still a couple of other options that may be better suited to your needs. The PIXMA TS6020 is one of them, with similar printing, scanning, and copying capabilities but with a more modest list of features, as well as a smaller size. This model is available in black or gray and offers fast 15 ipm black and 10 ipm color printing like its bigger siblings, but with a resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi and a 5-color ink system. This setup allows users to create sharp documents and vivid images. Other differences with this model include an 8.5 x 11.7" flatbed with a 1200 x 2400 dpi optical resolution, a smaller 3.0" touchscreen, and the lack of NFC, an SD card slot, and disc-printing support. Besides these changes, the TS6020 is an exceptionally capable unit with which many home users will be very pleased.
For those who want something super simple, but still stylish and packed with features, the PIXMA TS5020 completes the lineup. Available in black, gray, or white, this unit manages to shrink things down just a bit more. It features 4800 x 1200 dpi print resolution along with print speeds of 12.6 ipm in black and 9 ipm in color. It also offers a rear tray that can hold 100 sheets of paper, uses a 5-color ink system, and is equipped with a flatbed scanner with a 1200 x 2400 dpi resolution. Additionally, it has a 3.0" touchscreen LCD, an SD card slot, with USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity.
