    Canon TS9020 reviews

PIXMA TS9020 Wireless All-in-One Inkjet Printer (White) is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 69.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 times better than my canon pixma mp160 just printed 3 glossy and 3 matte finish 8.5 x 11 photos. uses vary little ink , to soon to tell how many prints ill get before needing new ink cartridges.pictures are perfect great printing. top feeder works great, bottom had a little trouble with feeding all the sheets, recommend looking at videos on cannons web site for instruction operation. my bad i set paper to far to the front of feeder. c.d. didn't work for my mac so i down loaded software from canon website. no problem after that. great software lots of options. i will by a bigger printer in the future. it will be a canon again very happy with pixma brand

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality, easy to use, one design problem. This has been working great as an SOHO printer and copier for months now. I love the ability to send prints wirelessly from any where in the house, even from my smart phone, or remotely over the web to have documents waiting for me when I return home. The copy speed is pretty quick, the copy quality is amazing. The drawback to this printer? The front panel closes to give a nice clean appearance when not in use, but that requires REMOVING the paper exit tray. If you have the paper exit tray installed, you can't close the front panel. That seems like a fairly dumb design choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed It is compact and saves a lot of space for all of the abilities. I picked this version of the TS series for hardwire. I placed it on the network and used the weblink for the installation for 5 other computers in the house both Windows and Mac's. All are having no issues. My previous printer was a Canon MG series and lasted for years. It still works and is being used by relatives now. Canon printers have never let me down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent All-In-One for the home! This is my first experience with a Canon printer, I have always been a user of HP products. That has changed after using this printer/scanner for the past month! The photos I print are quick and look fantastic! Scanning multiple photos on the flatbed is easy and very intuitive. Plenty of ink left after printing 10 8x10 photos (these are the cartridges that came with the printer)!Wireless setup was a breeze and the apps for both Apple and Android work well for printing from my mobile devices. An excellent all in one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Printer This is the second PIXMA TS9020 I own. The first one is paired with my wife's iMac, and I bought this one so my kids could print homework and other projects without running down the ink on our primary printer. The printer is fast and produces quality photographs. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the installation process and software. I'm still trying to troubleshoot how to set up the printer to scan wirelessly from within my MacBook Pro (my wife's setup utilizes a USB cable). Overall, a great printer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes great photo prints, does a nice job scanning as well. Don't mistake this for a heavy duty office machine. It is primarily intended for photo prints and it does a pretty good job of that. I'm an amateur photographer without a lot of experience with ink jet photo prints, but printed photos look exactly like they do on screen, so I guess that's pretty good. A full 8 by 10 photo print at high quality doesn't take very long. Scanning through the PC software is pretty nice. You don't have to pre-scan to set borders, the machine automatically sets borders. Scanning is pretty quick, too. The PC software will scan and crop multiple items as long as there is at least a 1 cm separation, and will also straighten tilted items. However, there are some shortcomings. The product specifications say the scan resolution is 2400 x 4800 dpi optical, up to 19200 x 19200 dpi interpolated. I can find no on screen menu item to set resolution. The PC software will set scan resolution but only up to 600 dpi. The iOS software does not set scan resolution. And the iOS scan software lacks the multiple item and angle correction capabilities. I did not give 5 stars because of the software limitations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice printer -- harder to set up than I hoped The printer is working great to support my light home use for documents. It's very compact and prints with excellent detail, which is great. It prints double sided, which is an improvement over my old Canon printer. However, at first I had a hard time setting it up, which is the only reason I've given it four stars. When I called their support line, their person helped me set it up manually, and now it works great. Part of my frustration was that I was trying to use my 5G WiFi, and the printer doesn't support that. Also entering my password was different than I expected, in that when you push shift, it stays in caps lock, and it took close notice to realize that. I'm not sure why it was so darn hard to set up. Also, when I first turned the power on, it gave me an error message immediately, saying the paper output tray is in the position for disk print. Slide out the tray and select OK. But I couldn't tell from the manual or the screen what they wanted me to do. The screen's help is useless. The included manual is horrible in its brevity, and not very helpful, mostly because it is mostly legal notices. Normally in a manual there is diagram of the parts and where to put them. The online one they refer you to is even worse, because it is a 466 page dissertation, and it's hard to find anything in a 466 page online document. They don't include it printed, probably because it would cost too much to print, and also weigh two pounds. And it has this thin plastic piece, that is a CD printing tray, which they should give you a slot to store inside the printer somewhere, and the support person told me to just put it aside somewhere. I don't get that. Don't let my frustration scare you off, though. It works fine, now, and I don't have to enter my wifi password over and over like the other reviewer. If you have trouble (hopefully you won't) call Canon and get them to help you out. Hopefully they can come up with a better condensed form of their manual and include it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good enough Good printer for the money (currently $49.99). No serious flaws but the following 2 items are a bit irritating. 1) In order to print, the front panel automatically flips up and the output tray gets extended. They both stay out when finished printing. Upon power down, the tray will retract but the panel stays open. You have to push it closed manually. It doesn't feel like these will operate long term. 2) Replacement ink is expensive. Cheaper to toss the printer and buy a new on rather than replacing ink. Makes no sense.
