Lowepro just announced the latest generation of its esteemed FastPack lineup, the FastPack BP IV. Designed for the everyday photographer and content creator who moves between shooting, travel, and everyday life, the FastPack IV combines quick camera access, practical organization, and a robust construction for a versatile bag ready for any occasion.
The FastPack IV features the same side-access camera compartment of its predecessor, which allows users to access their gear quickly without removing the bag completely. Inside the bag, a dual-compartment layout separates the camera equipment from personal gear, making the bag an ideal choice for overnight trips and the perfect carry-on companion.
The FastPack IV builds on the existing format with updated materials, improved functionality, and design improvements shaped by the way creators work and travel today. One way in which creators have changed the game is by expecting one bag to do it all, from protecting the camera and other gear while easily transitioning into a travel and work bag. Luckily, Lowepro considered this dilemma when updating the FastPack.
Like previous generations, the FastPack IV comes with three offerings, each designed for different carrying needs. First, we have the BP 150 AW IV, which is suited for lighter loads and day trips. Next is the BP 250AW IV, a balanced mid-sized option for larger setups that doubles as a great commuter bag. Finally, we have the large BP 450 AW IV, which offers the space needed for comprehensive kits and extended travel.
Further setting the FastPack IV collection apart from its predecessor is the introduction of a fully redesigned full back opening, providing easier packing and a better view of stored gear. Additionally, the flexible interior allows the bag to be fully transitioned from a camera backpack to regular old daypack for hikes or commutes. The front panel is made from 100% recycled nylon, with a protective coating to improve weather and abrasion resistance.
Each bag in the FastPack IV collection follows the same core principles that defined the FastPack series, including fast access, efficient organization, and adaptability across use cases.
