FUJIFILM is announcing their first instax SQUARE camera in three years: the new instax SQUARE 2 Instant Film Camera, the follow-up to 2020’s SQ1. Serving the well-loved but oft-neglected 2.4 x 2.4” format, the SQUARE 2 returns FUJIFILM to the 1:1 fray with new imaging options and new colorways.
Accompanying the new camera is a new stock of instax SQUARE film, the instax SQUARE Soft Haze film pack, designed with adjusted contrast and saturation to deliver warmer and gentler color tones.
The new instax SQUARE 2 instant camera’s matte pastels of Slate Blue, Misty White, and Brick Red offer intuitive imaging tools to make meaningful memories. The camera keeps both exposure and flash automatic, freeing up users for composition and in-the-moment vibing. The lens ring rotates for shooting mode adjustments: Close-Up, Landscape, and Standard.
The SQUARE 2 also offers a new Mood Filter Switch, allowing users to set the mood between the subtle gold Warm Mood Filter and the crisp, blue-toned Cool Mood Filter. Choose neither for the classic instax look.
Four AA batteries power the SQUARE 2 camera, which will be released alongside color-matched camera cases that add stylish protection.
