FUJIFILM has invented a new way to enjoy its popular SQUARE format instant film: the INSTAX SQUARE LINK Smartphone Printer. Featuring built-in Bluetooth and a dedicated app for smartphones, the LINK allows you to customize and print photos from your smartphone on SQUARE instant film. It even features the ability to add an Augmented Reality effect to smartphone images via a QR code added to your print.
Compatible with INSTAX SQUARE film, the new printer takes advantage of one of FUJIFILM’s most popular and pocketable instant film formats, producing 2.44 x 2.44" images on 3.39 x 2.83" prints. Its built-in battery can produce 100 prints per charge, making it as useful for everyday carry as for adventures into the wilderness. It charges via a USB Type-C cable.
Using the INSTAX SQUARE LINK app you can add text, effects, and more than 1,600 digital stickers to your images. The app also allows you to take stills from videos on your phone to turn into prints or to collage multiple images into single prints. The all-new Augmented Reality effect adds a QR code to your print, letting you or your friends scan the code and enjoy the AR content on the app.
The INSTAX SQUARE LINK is available in Ash White or Midnight Green finishes. A dedicated case provides protection and print storage in Woven Gray and Woven Ivory colors. Finally, a new INSTAX SQUARE photo album displays and protects 80 prints to share your photos easily while on the go.
