Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hasselblad (and man) on the moon, Hasselblad has introduced the 907X Special Edition. Matching the palette of the Hasselblad Electric Cameras accompanying the Apollo 11 mission, this limited-edition release combines the 907X body and CFV II 50C digital back, painted matte black. During the Apollo 11 mission, three Hasselblad cameras were used—two making it to the lunar surface. To commemorate this feat, “On the Moon Since 1969” is printed on the digital back.
The 907X is Hasselblad’s smallest medium format body, weighing only 7.27 oz, and, when docked with the CFV II 50C, creates an extremely portable mirrorless camera. The CFV II 50C’s 50MP CMOS medium format sensor provides incredible color depth and 14 stops of dynamic range. The incorporation of Hasselblad’s Natural Color Solution technology creates remarkably accurate color rendering for all subjects. For improved ergonomics, touch and tilt rear display has been incorporated into its build so you can swipe and pinch-to-zoom when reviewing images. At 60 fps, the rear display provides smooth live view when shooting. An internal battery slot has also been added, as well as the ability to charge via USB. Dual UHS-II SD card slots allow you to shoot and back up at the same time, and built-in Wi-Fi benefits workflow. It is compatible with Hasselblad’s Phocus software for lens corrections and image editing.
The 907X Special Edition is compatible with all XCD lenses natively and all HC/HCD, V System and XPan lenses via adapters. Finally, the CFV II 50C is compatible with most post-1957 V System cameras for added versatility.

I thought the X1D was great. This thing is over the moon for sure. I hope it sells well. Not sure if I want to spend that kind of money yet. You never know. Great job and congrats to the design team.
