0Share

After a simultaneous release alongside the Edge 50 Optic, Lensbaby’s Composer Pro II now has a fully fleshed-out lineup, allowing users to pick up the specialty lens with an assortment of different optics. Now users can begin their journey into Lensbaby’s unique world with the Composer Pro II, using a Sweet 35 Optic, Sweet 50 Optic, Edge 80 Optic, or as a complete System Kit.

To start, we have a Composer Pro II with the portrait-length Edge 80 Optic. This setup provides a short telephoto perspective that is flattering to people, along with the control needed to pick a fine slice of focus throughout the image. Also, this optic can be used straight-on as a standard lens. It will be available in Canon EF and Nikon F mounts.

Next, we finally have access to the series of Sweet optics, which offer a circle of focus surrounded by pleasing and smooth bokeh. Users can control the size of the circle by stopping-down the aperture on the optic, while position is adjusted by moving the Composer Pro II. Users can pick up the Composer Pro II with the Sweet 35 Optic or with the Sweet 50 Optic, depending on their preferred look. These lenses will be available in Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony A, Pentax K, Micro Four Thirds, Sony E, Samsung NX, and Fujifilm X mounts.

Finally, a complete Composer Pro II System Kit has been created, which features the Sweet 35, Sweet 50, and Edge 80 Optics along with the specialized lens. In addition to this selection of effects lenses, users will also receive a set of 8mm and 16mm Macro Converters that will dramatically improve the close focusing distance of the optics. And, to top it all off, the kit includes a lens-cleaning cloth and a system bag to hold and organize everything. This kit will be made for Canon EF and Nikon F mounts.
