If you are regular reader of Explora, or a regular at the photography bag section of the B&H SuperStore, you might notice that Lowepro constantly keeps its lines fresh, current, and innovative—meeting the needs of modern photographers, videographers, and creatives—all while making its bags more sustainable with cutting edge, eco-friendly manufacturing techniques. Fresh off the Lowepro factory floor is the brand-new Trekker Lite line of camera bags and backpacks featuring a refreshed look, plus two new backpack additions for the new Adventura III collection.

Trekker Lite

The Lowepro Trekker line is one of its most popular collections, and the new Trekker Lite lineup will undoubtedly enhance the Trekker family reputation. Designed specifically for traveling, the Trekker Lite collection includes two backpacks—the 150 and 250—a sling style bag, and a hip pack. All new models are available in gray or black with yellow accents.

For sizing info, the BP 250 is designed to swallow a full-frame mirrorless camera with the lens attached, as well as two additional lenses and a charger and battery, a 15" laptop, a tabletop or compact tripod, and extra gear. The BP 150 is friendlier to crop-sensor mirrorless cameras with the same lens loadout, charger and battery, and a 13" laptop.

The SLX 120 sling bag can accommodate a full-frame mirrorless camera with the lens attached. It can also hold 1-2 extra lenses and a 10.5" tablet, or a 70-200mm, placed horizontally. The HP 100 hip pack is designed to hold a crop-sensor mirrorless camera, two small lenses, and additional personal gear.

All Trekker Lite bags feature soft structures and modular inserts to allow flexibility and customization. The backpacks have a removable camera insert and strap for carrying the insert as a small stand-alone camera bag. With the insert removed, you can use the full backpack for other gear. There is an easily accessible laptop section for grabbing your electronics at security checkpoints, and the backpacks are fully compatible with Lowepro’s GearUp accessory straps. Speaking of straps, the backpack straps can be stowed away.

On the sustainability front, the Trekker Lite collection clocks in at 76-81% sustainable with 60% of the bags made from recycled fabrics and 20% from solution-dyed fabrics. Solution-dyed fabrics use 80% less water and reduce chemical waste and greenhouse gas emissions during manufacturing.

Adventura III

The third generation of Adventura bags—complete with two new backpacks—features a facelift in the visual arena, as well as increased sustainability in the manufacturing process. The four shoulder bags and two top loaders are designed for the enthusiast photographer on day trips or extended creative adventures. The bags are lightweight, rugged, and ideal for mirrorless shooters.

The two new backpacks, the BP 300 and BP 150, are the latest additions to the Adventura line. The BP 300 is a full photo bag with padded dividers throughout and space for a 13" laptop. The BP 150 is a 50/50 bag that has padded camera storage, as well as a section for personal gear.

The refreshed Adventura III line has been updated, size-wise, for the mirrorless world and the bags offer cozy spaces for cameras ranging from compact point-and-shoot cameras to larger mirrorless rigs.

No, I have no questions about that. You clearly write all points. Thank you. I am also a photographer and I have a company where I work on photo editing like clipping path, background removal, image masking, etc. If I need this I will obviously buy this from you.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the kind words on the article and thanks for reading!

Best,
