SeaLife, a worldwide leader in underwater cameras and lighting solutions, has announced several new and updated products designed specifically for underwater photography and video imaging.
Starting with the new Sea Dragon 2000F and 3000F COB LED lights: Both lights offer a CRI of 80 and color temperature of 5000K, which will simulate natural sunlight for more colorful stills and video images. As its name suggests, the 2000F offers 2000 lumens, while the 3000F produces 3000. The 3000F also features automatic flash detection, brightness control, and two red 180 lumens LEDs for nighttime use. Both LED lights are designed to work with a wide range of cameras, including SeaLife's own line of underwater devices, as well as mirrorless and DSLR systems, and even action cams, such as the GoPro HERO series.
These new lights are available in several configurations, including kits and stand-alone items. One of the more advanced options is the DC2000 Pro Set, which, in addition to a 3000F LED light, includes SeaLife's most powerful—and most popular—underwater camera, the DC2000. Featuring a backlit 20MP camera with a Sony 1" CMOS sensor, the waterproof DC2000 produces sharp underwater stills and full HD 1080p video at up to 60 fps. There's also a Pro Duo Set, which comes with an additional lighting asset, the Sea Dragon Flash. Check out some footage from DC2000 below.
For photographers who want a turn-key package optimized for underwater photography and video imaging, SeaLife also announced two new camera sets: the Micro 2.0 Pro 2000 and the Micro 2.0 Pro Duo 4000. Both sets include SeaLife's Micro 2.0, a permanently sealed 32GB Wi-Fi underwater camera that features a 16MP camera with a Sony CMOS sensor. The Pro 2000 package includes one SeaDragon 2000F, while the Pro Duo 4000 includes two. Check out both packages in action below.
