Manfrotto has unveiled their latest series of camera bags with the versatile Uncovered series. Designed to meet the ever-changing needs of the outdoor creator, the Uncovered series is equipped with a water-resistant TriTex shell, roll-top Design, water-tight zippers, and a coated bottom.
In the lineup sits four new bags. A 24L and 30L backpack are great for longer treks, air travel, and simply getting a lot of gear from point A to point B. They can fit a 14” and 16” laptop respectively and a variety of lenses. Both feature an integrated trolley tunnel and a customizable FlexGrid attachment system for all the accessories you need.
For smaller setups, or just a more streamlined outing, Manfrotto has you covered with two messenger bags. There will be a 12L and 7L option, giving users an option for even the smallest camera setups. Like the backpacks, both messenger bags feature a trolley strap, as well as some unique features like the hidden zip pocket. The 7L bag can even be folded flat when not in use!
The camera insert is removable in all sizes, meaning the bags can double as a standard daypack in a pinch. The removed inserts can also serve as an independent storage system, while the outer bag sees use elsewhere, such as commutes, hikes, or urban trips without being picked out as a photographer. This all comes without worrying about weather changes as mentioned earlier.
A rugged construction doesn’t come at a cost to comfort, with a ventilated back panel taking center stage. This is especially noticeable on longer walks and hikes, as is the extra harness padding. Lastly, we have to mention the most practical feature, which is one new to the Manfrotto line. We are of course talking about the roll-top design.
Roll-top bags have long been popular among nature photographers and traveling creators alike, and Manfrotto has implemented the feature throughout this line. From the 7L Messenger bag to the 30L Backpack, each bag is expandable to fit anything you may need in the field, and with external attachment points across the line as well, the packing possibilities are endless.
