Unveiled: Panasonic Lumix G 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens

Panasonic has taken the general-purpose zoom a step further with their release of the Lumix G Vario 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras. Offering a significant size reduction compared to equivalent DSLR optics, this lens offers a 35mm equivalent zoom range of 24-120mm and maintains an even more compact design due to the use of a variable f/3.5-5.6 aperture. Along with this, the lens sports a splash and dustproof construction, making it great for travel and inclement weather conditions. Ensuring sharp imagery, the lens is equipped with three aspherical elements and one, extra-low dispersion element that will help control aberration and heighten clarity. Beyond the high-quality glass and performance, it has Power Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) for added handheld stability as well as support for Dual I.S. when mounted to compatible Panasonic cameras.
