Shimoda Designs has introduced a new, smaller version of its popular Explore 40 daypack, and it's called the Explore 30. Despite its shorter exterior profile, the Explore 30 can carry the same amount of gear as the original Explore 40, and it features a new removable belt system.

To go along with the newest addition to the Shimoda Designs product lineup, the company has also introduced a Large DSLR Core Unit designed for DSLR systems with longer telephoto lenses, and a Mirrorless Medium Core Unit, which is configured for carrying mirrorless and rangefinder camera systems.

Other new products introduced by Shimoda Designs include a Rain Cover that fits the Explore 30 and a tripod, or an Explore 40 without a tripod. Also introduced is a trio of mesh Stuff Sacks, a Belt Booster that allows you to transfer some of the weight to your waist, a Divider Kit for the DSLR Core Unit, spare Accessory Webbing Straps with Gate Hooks, and a multi-section SD Card Wallet.
