With SDI and HDMI wireless transmissions combined into one, compact system, Accsoon’s new CineView SE Multi-Spectrum Wireless Video Transmission System is sure to shake things up. A trusted name in the production world, Accsoon has stepped up its game with this new release, which features lower latency and improved software.
Configuration
Similar to the CineView HE system that precedes it, the CineView SE has four removeable antennas and a range of 1200', thanks to its dual-band wireless technology that transmits images simultaneously over 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies for a more stable connection. It can also be used with up to four devices, whether that be four receiver units, four iOS/Android devices with the Accsoon Go app, or even a combination of the two. The SE provides the same connectivity as the CineEye 2S Pro for compatibility with HDMI and SDI video up to 1080p at 60 fps. Even older professional cameras can be used with the SE, thanks to its SDI level A and B signal capabilities.
Onboard Upgrades
At just 50 ms, the CineView SE has Accsoon’s lowest latency yet for imperceptible screen lag. This transmission power comes in an ultra-compact package, making the SE the smallest and lightest system with the same level of performance as larger models. A single NP-F790 battery can power the system for up to 12 hours and you can switch between other power options, such as a DC input or a USB power source, while the unit is still on.
Software Upgrades
With the SE release, the Accsoon Go app has received some updates of its own. Just like the previous version, the app is capable of recording HD video transmitted from your SE to your smart device for instant review and sharing. Video can also be streamed using RTMP protocols to video-sharing platforms. Additionally, new tools allow for more efficient monitoring of your footage. Smart Sharpening provides more accurate focusing, Onion Skin Overlay lines up your shots precisely for repetition, and improved LUT loading and recording maintains overall color cohesion.
