If you were looking for an aerial photography and video solution that you can bring around in a small backpack, or even a day-pack, look no further. The folding carbon fiber body design weighs three-quarters of a pound and ensures that you can be up and flying in seconds. A 180-degree motorized gimbal for the camera lets you point the camera up to the sky or down at grounded subjects. As its name would suggest, the Anafi records video at 4K resolution at a 100 mbps bit-rate. 21 megapixel photos can be taken, as well, to complement your video content. The high resolution of the sensor provides real estate for a 2.8x lossless zoom capability to focus in on your subjects and features hybrid 3-axis mechanical/electronic image stabilization. Despite its size, the Anafi can fly for up to 25 minutes on a full battery.
To back up the camera specs, Parrot has infused a wide variety of smart functions into the Anafi in a feature set called "Automatic A.I. Shooting & Tracking." These smart functions let you execute camera moves that can enhance your story quickly without learning advanced "drone gymnastics." These functions include SmartDronies for taking selfies from the sky, a Dolly Zoom Effect that lets you emulate the famous "Vertigo" effect, and Cameraman for framing subjects automatically while you control the drone. All these functions, and more, can be controlled straight from your smartphone when it's plugged into the included Skycontroller 3 transmitter/controller.
