We're pleased to announce Ricoh’s THETA Z1 51GB, for 360-degree 4K videos. Based on the previous version of the THETA Z1, which had only 19GB of internal flash memory, Ricoh has increased the internal storage to 51GB while keeping the same size and weight of the previous version. Sharing the same features as the previous version, the camera is suitable for use by photo enthusiasts, panorama and street view photographers/videographers, as well as for use in business applications such as real estate, construction, tourism venues, and more. The expanded memory allows you to shoot approximately 110 minutes of video or 6350 JPEG images (depending on content, format, and quality settings), and you can also capture still images in the Adobe DNG format for additional post manipulation.

Incorporating two 1.0" back-illuminated CMOS sensors, each with approximately 20MP of resolution, it enables capturing high-resolution 360-degree still images, as well as 360-degree 4K video with about 22.5 MP resolution. Supporting 30 fps for smooth motion, and with its integrated 3-axis rotational stabilizing system, the THETA Z1 51GB helps you create a smooth and immersive 360-degree video experience. Integrated manual controls make it easy to operate the camera, and the built-in organic EL monitor can display a variety of information, easily visible at a glance. With a maximum ISO level of 6400, the camera can capture clear stills, and the built-in noise reducer allows for clear images, even in dim lighting conditions. Best of all, the THETA Z1 51G is slim enough to fit into a pocket, so you can take it with you virtually anywhere and have it in your hand and ready at a moment’s notice.
