Anton Bauer has just announced the release of several new products to keep your production equipment powered while you're on the go and under pressure, including the GO 90 98Wh lithium-ion batteries in Gold mount and V-mount versions, the GM2 Gold mount and VM2 V-mount dual chargers, and a P-Tap charger for a variety of 14V batteries with a P-Tap charging input. Together, the batteries and chargers provide hours of production time for your power-hungry cinema cameras and lighting equipment.
The compact, lightweight GO 90 batteries come in either a Gold mount or V-mount model, and they both feature a 98Wh capacity, 8A continuous draw, and a 5-bar LED status gauge that shows battery life in 20% increments. They include a combination P-Tap output and charging port to charge your equipment or charge up quickly using a P-Tap or D-Tap charger or another D-Tap/P-Tap source. You can also power a smartphone or tablet with the 5V/1A USB Type-A output. The P-Tap port is weather resistant, so it can charge without issue in rainy weather.
The new GM2 and VM2 dual chargers feature two battery plates that are designed to charge two 98Wh GO 90 or equivalent batteries, simultaneously, in about 3 hours. They offer standard 100 to 240 VAC worldwide power input, which is ideal for when you travel with these lightweight, compact chargers. You can also power your equipment using the charger, which can simultaneously charge and provide 16.7 VDC via the 4-pin XLR output while it's plugged into mains power. When it's not plugged into mains power, the XLR output delivers 15 VDC when batteries are attached. An intelligent safety system inside the chargers ensures that the batteries will charge safely, and the internal fan keeps them cool. The chargers have an integrated handle and a fold-in support stand so they can be transported and set down anywhere, and a 10' XLR cable is included in the box.
The P-Tap charger is an ultra-compact charger if the above dual charger is too large for your bag. It features a 16.7 VDC P-Tap output that can charge most 10A Gold mount or V-mount batteries in about 6 hours. It also features easy-to-read red/green charge indicators for your P-Tap-enabled battery. A standard 100 to 240 VAC adapter provides mains power input, and US, UK, and EU plug adapters are included, making it a true travel charger.
