Bluefish444 Video I/O Cards and IngeSTore Software

0Share

IngeSTore software is a simple, yet professional, video capture solution from Bluefish444, and is available for free with any purchase of a Bluefish444 video I/O card. IngeSTore integrates Bluefish444 hardware into a dedicated SDI capture system, or directly into your existing editing system, turning any non-linear editing system into a simultaneous capture and output solution.

IngeSTore is compatible with all Bluefish444 video I/O cards, including:

Leveraging the flexibility and power Bluefish444 hardware, broadcast and studio environments can ingest and record up to four independent channels of 8-bit or 10-bit uncompressed video in QuickTime or AVI formats from SDI sources direct to internal storage. If you wish, IngeSTore can be upgraded to "DNxHD IngeSTore" at any time to allow for capture in the robust, AVID-compliant OP-ATOM DNxHD format. Users may continue to edit using any available SDI output on the Bluefish444 card, so you can continue working inside popular NLEs such as Avid Media Composer or Adobe Premiere Pro CC. With the latest update to IngeSTore you can edit your recorded files in those same NLEs while they are still being captured; a feature that is perfect for live, time-critical environments, such as reality shows or sports broadcasting.

Epoch | Neutron and Epoch | 4K Neutron video I/O cards allow for a maximum of three bi-directional SDI I/Os, the latter allowing 3G/1.5G/SD-SDI input and output. Epoch | 4K Supernova and Epoch | 4K Supernova S+ have a maximum of four bi-directional SDI I/Os capable of 3G/1.5G/SD-SDI. Epoch | Supernova CG has four independent SDI connectors all capable of 1.5G and SD video I/O.

With the capacity to record any standard SDI video source, IngeSTore provides three capture modes;

  1. Crash Record: start and stop recording at the click of a button, which is great for live sources and can be used in most recording situations;
  2. Timecode In/Out Record: define your timecode in and out points so you can capture specific points in time from predefined media, such as archived programs on tape;
  3. Auto Start Record: By analyzing incoming timecode from the source, recording will automatically start when a record flag is sent over the SDI-embedded timecode stream.

Perhaps one of the greatest strengths of IngeSTore with Bluefish444 video I/O cards is the simplicity, requiring little to no user input while the software is working, making it easy to capture high-quality results with minimum effort or wasted time in the studio.
