Fresh from its release at IBC 2023, in Amsterdam, the E2-M5G Cinema Camera from Z CAM is poised to please sports and action shooters alike. This latest entry in the Z CAM compact cine camera line boasts a global shutter for reducing or eliminating motion blur, high-speed capture at up to 116 fps in UHD 4K, and an impressive 16 stops of dynamic range.
Built around a dual-gain Micro Four Thirds sensor, the E2-M5G’s supported video resolutions include 5K at 60 fps, DCI/UHD 4K up to 94 fps, and 4K 2:4:1 up to 116 fps.
This compact camera features the interchangeable lens mount that is a hallmark of the Z CAM line. It comes with an MFT lens mount and can be used with a separately available Canon EF, ARRI PL, or ARRI LPL mount. Opt for the Z CAM Canon EF Turbo Mount with its 0.71x field-of-view increase to use S35 or even full-frame lenses on the E2-M5G.
