
As the popularity of cine-style broadcast capture only continues to grow, you can now count on ARRI’s new ALEXA 35 Live multicamera system to seamlessly integrate the unique ARRI look into your live productions.
This version of the notably popular ALEXA 35 camera offers the cinematic ARRI look in a broadcast-friendly, fiber-based setup. The ALEX 35 Live system comprises the 4K ALEXA 35 Live camera, the LPS-1 Live Production System with a fiber camera adapter and base station, the Skaarhoj RCP (remote control panel), and dedicated multicamera accessories. Like any ARRI camera, the ALEXA 35 Live and its fiber components are reliable and robust. The system is splash-proof, dustproof, and silent and features a wide operating range of -4 to 113˚ F.
The camera’s Super35 4K sensor offers shallow depth of field looks, high sensitivity with minimal noise, and more accurate colors. It supports a massive 17 stops of dynamic range, ideal for handling the lighting contrasts of concerts, sporting events, and other live productions in SDR or HDR. The ARRI Look Library is built into the ALEXA 35 Live, providing 87 cinematic looks in a choice of three intensities plus several multicam presets for quickly assigning a look to live productions like talk shows, sports, or theatrical events.
The ALEXA 35 Live supports uncompressed 4K60 video at distances up to 1.2 miles using a hybrid fiber cable or up to 6.2 miles via tactical fiber cable. A second set of fiber and Ethernet tunnels are built into the system to provide the flexibility for additional video, audio, or control signals. The base station supports future-proof SMPTE ST2110 IP video and offers a SMPTE 2022-7 redundant network for reliability. You can easily set up and configure the ALEXA 35 Live using the Skaarhoj RCP, ARRI Webremote, or FCA/FBS or Skaarhoj Reactor web interfaces.

Dedicated accessories for the ALEXA 35 Live camera include the lightweight, secure Touchdown tripod baseplate system, the LLA-1 Large Lens Adapter for quick mounting of large box-style lenses, and the MYS-1L yoke support for the CCM-1 camera control monitor. New components also include the TLM-1 LBUS tally light, a longer LPH-1 top handle, and a selection of SAM plates for mounting the ALEXA 35 Live to your gimbal stabilizer. The PL-mount ALEXA 35 also offers B and EF lens mount support for wide compatibility with broadcast and ENG-style lenses.
Versatile licensing options enable existing ALEXA 35 owners to add a Multicam License and/or the fiber components to create a multicam system. ALEXA 35 Live purchasers have the option of adding a Cine License to obtain a full range of resolution and frame rate options. Service is available through the global ARRI network, offering the benefit of a single network to support the camera, fiber components, and accessories.
