Remotely manage your multi-camera production with ease using the Hive Studio software platform from PTZOptics. This browser-based software system puts camera control, live video switching, and recording into an intuitive, easy-to-use interface.
The Hive Studio platform is available in two annual licensing plans. You can choose the standard plan for smaller-scale productions or the professional plan for larger, more complex operations.
Both licensing plans provide many of the same features, including PTZ camera control, auto-tracking, switching, live streaming, recording, NDI output, and more. Both plans also allow you to use Hive Studio locally or over the internet, so you can monitor, configure, and control your production from anywhere in the world.
Apart from the cost, the biggest differences between the two licensing plans are the number of video sources and users each will accommodate and the amount of usage each plan affords.
The standard license can accommodate up to three cameras or video sources and as many as 10 users (with varying permissions and roles). With the professional license, you can manage an unlimited number of cameras and video sources, as well as an unlimited amount of users. The professional license also adds unlimited auto-tracking, RTMP live streaming, and NDI video output to your subscription.
As far as usage goes: The standard plan comes with 25 hours of remote Hive Studio usage, with an overage cost of $0.025 per video source. The professional plan includes 99 hours of remote usage, with an overage cost of $0.015 per video source.
