Feiyu has a solution, with the new Pocket Handheld Gimbal, a camera gimbal that is so tiny it can fit in your pocket. The Pocket features a 3-axis gimbal stabilizer to prevent shaky footage, an action camera that shoots up to 4K video, and a built-in touchscreen for live video viewing and settings management.
The main feature of the Pocket Handheld Gimbal is the high-resolution camera with a wide-angle lens that allows you to record video in 4K, 2K, and 1080p resolutions, depending on your application and shooting style. The camera balances atop a 3-axis gimbal, which allows you to keep your camera footage steady, while also providing motorized pan, tilt, and roll functions using the touchscreen. The large touchscreen display on the handle provides a live view of your camera's view, allowing you to control the gimbal and quickly change settings with a few taps and swipes. The handle also features a physical record / shutter button to make video recording and still capture a breeze, without having to look at a screen.
The function button on the handle can be pressed to switch modes like follow, all follow, pan, and selfie modes quickly, utilizing the automatic features of the gimbal. You can also control the Pocket using the Feiyu iOS/Android smartphone app, which lets you control the Pocket Handheld Gimbal, view the live image, and review your footage. You can also set up effects such as time-lapse, panorama, and slow-motion features to add creative options to your shoots. Your videos are recorded using the SD card slot in the handle, and it accepts high-speed UHS-I U3 cards.
The Pocket is extremely lightweight, at less than a half pound, and measures less than 5" in length, so it can fit in a small outer bag pocket or a jacket pocket when transporting it. It has a solid aluminum body with an ergonomic handgrip so you can keep a comfortable grip while you move. It's powered using an integrated battery that can last more than four hours on a full charge, and it's easily charged up using the included USB Type-C cable. A protective case also comes with the gimbal so you can keep it safe during storage and transport, and a wrist strap is included in case you lose your comfortable grip on the Pocket Handheld Gimbal.
