Harlowe Releases the New Max Spectra Series Featuring the New “Magic Lens”

Videography and photography lighting manufacturer Harlowe has announced the release of their new Max Spectra series of portable RGBCW LED lights created to deliver incredible color fidelity and in-camera practical effects for creators who are always on the move. The lineup includes three models: the Max 40W Spectra, Max 80W Spectra, and Max 120W Spectra, all capable of full-power color output across 36,000 colors via their five-channel independent drive and come with their “magic lens” to project moving effects.

The main draw of the Max Spectra is its ability switch and transition between colors without losing any power or brilliance, with a newly designed LED light system that powers each color channel independently. All 36,000 colors maintain consistent intensity no matter what colors need to change in real time. This allows for excellent results with smaller crews and tighter deadlines, and a type of lighting Harlowe claims is impossible for AI to replicate, using real optics and in-camera effects.

Max Spectra is fully compatible with the existing Harlowe Max Bi-Color ecosystem, so you can drop in a new tool without breaking up the workflow you might already have established. All models cover 1700K-10000K running on battery or AC and can be controlled via Bluetooth or from the fixture itself.
