0Share

Tokina expands its impressive line of Cinema Vista prime lenses with the 135mm model, at IBC 2019. Like its 18, 25, 35, 50, 85 and 105mm prime siblings, the 135mm features a fast T1.5 aperture and covers large sensors with its 46.7 image circle, such as 35mm full-frame, VistaVision, and the latest RED MONSTRO 8K VV sensors. The 135mm Cinema Vista prime is available in PL mount, EF mount, MFT mount, and E-Mount versions to match the rest of the line.

The 135mm prime's glass and optics have been redesigned to meet the needs of large-format sensors, and it features low chromatic aberrations using aspherical elements and updated coatings. These enhancements, combined with the 9-blade iris and a T1.5 to T22 aperture range, create a sharp, dramatic image with a soft, round bokeh.

Common in the Cinema Vista line, the 135mm features a consistent length, a 114mm front diameter for easy matte box changes, a 112mm filter thread, a common lens gear, and there is no focus breathing, making focus pulls smooth and easy. The lens mount is also shimmable in case fine adjustments need to be made.
