Featuring a camera with a 1/2.3" sensor that can shoot 4K60 video or take 12MP stills, the MOIN produces sharp, clear images without the fuss and bulk of a larger camera. Integrating the camera with a gimbal enables the MOIN to be lightweight at just over 6 ounces, with more than 2 hours of battery life between charges, and it has a host of features to help you create professional-looking video.
The lens has a 120-degree angle of view, and the f/2.2 aperture allows you to capture footage in dim lighting conditions. The gimbal features an integrated image processor along with Moza’s “Deep Red” anti-shake algorithm for smooth cinematic camera moves and stable footage on the go. Integrated stereo microphones provide intelligent noise reduction for crisp audio that helps immerse your viewers in the video. The large flip-out touchscreen allows you to access the camera’s settings and see what you are filming. Select Face Tracking mode to let the gimbal follow your subject, while Time-Lapse and Slow Motion modes allow you to manipulate time and motion with the MOIN. Still photographers are not forgotten with the MOIN’s panoramic mode that has the gimbal automatically capture a panoramic shot. Also, the MOIN camera lets you set 60-second long exposures for nighttime stills, and it has a Continuous Shooting mode that takes nine images with a single click.
For video capture, you can record the standard way, or enter Magic Mode and simply choose from the built-in templates to have the MOIN create your finished video. Once you’ve captured your footage, you can quickly and quietly transfer it to your smartphone with the Intelligent Silent Transfer mode via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and the Moza Artist App allows you to edit your film on your smartphone, creating a polished final video.
