Introducing the Snoppa Vmate 4K Compact Gimbal Camera

Record your social media content anywhere and everywhere using professional image stabilization and high-resolution imagery with the new Snoppa Vmate all-in-one 4K handheld micro camera gimbal. Rather than carry a separate stabilizer with you that has to be balanced after mounting your smartphone or camera, the tiny Vmate incorporates a high-resolution camera and has built-in, instant balancing to get right to recording after powering up. It captures stunning video in resolutions up to 4K60 and slow-motion video up to 1080p at 240 fps, providing a wide range of resolutions and shot choices for your content.

The Vmate is so tiny it measures less than 5" high, 1.5" wide, and weighs only 4 oz—a true pocket-size camera gimbal. The camera sits atop the handle in a pan/tilt cradle, and it seamlessly balances with 3-axis gimbal motors to keep your shots rock steady. The fast f/2.0 lens provides superior performance in low light, and its 81° wide-angle lens captures the entire scene while keeping crisp, clear focus.

Depending on your social media site preferences, you can choose to shoot in portrait or landscape mode to meet any requirements. Its vlogging features include face tracking, object tracking, time-lapse, night shot, and slow-motion operation that are all configurable through its front screen.

You can also control the Vmate using Wi-Fi and the Vmate app for your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet, which provides access to settings, modes, pan/tilt operation, and capture configuration. The Vmate features two built-in microphones to add audio to your production. Additionally, you can utilize your smartphone microphone to add audio to your videos from within the app, or you can even utilize a Bluetooth microphone. A huge bonus is the Broadcaster mode that allows you to simultaneously record yourself with your smartphone camera along with the gimbal camera, making it easy to sync up your reactions without missing a shot.

You can record video using the Vmate app or using a built-in memory card slot. Its built-in 2100mAh LiPo battery offers a long life of up to 210 minutes and it is charged using its USB Type-C port and an included USB cable. A multi-function hard case with a hand strap is included to protect the camera while you transport it, and it also allows you to mount it onto a smartphone that measures from 2.4 to 3.3" wide. A variety of accessories will be available for the Snoppa, such as a mini tripod, filters, adapters, and other riggings to add even more functionality to the gimbal camera.

Be sure to check out the new Snoppa Vmate on the B&H Photo Website and stop in the B&H Photo SuperStore when you're in New York City.
