Announcing two new SmallHD monitor bundles now at B&H Photo. The newly announced 503 UltraBright and 703 UltraBright monitors each feature screen brightness well over 2000 cd/m² and are available as introductory bundles. The 503 and 703 UltraBright monitor bundles include a monitor, hard case, neoprene sleeve, D-Tap to LEMO power cable, and BNC Cable. The 5" 503 and 7" 703 feature a milled aluminum unibody design for a strong, yet lightweight chassis, with SDI and HDMI in/outs with cross conversion.
Of course, where these new monitors shine is their brightness, with the 5" outputting 2200 cd/m² and the 7" outputting 2500 cd/m². These monitors provide images bright enough to be seen in daylight and may just make screen hoods a thing of the past. It isn’t only a brightness boost—for these screens, SmallHD has upped their game by allowing users to set the SDI output to be a secondary input instead, for viewing input signals from two different cameras.
The new 503 UltraBright is a powerful tool with a Full-HD 1920 x 1080 IPS LCD screen for good off-axis viewing, and a host of useful features, such as HDR Preview, an optically bonded Gorilla Glass screen, and a LEMO power in port.
The 703 UltraBright includes all the features of the 503 UltraBright, but the increased size allows for it to have an auxiliary LEMO port for powering wireless devices and accessories. The 7" monitor also includes a total of five programmable function buttons (the 5" model only has two) and both units run under Small HD’s Page Builder OS, for fast and easy-to-use operation.
