Ever the innovator in the wireless video transmission world, Teradek has once again created a new series of transmission systems to facilitate your live event coverage. Ranger Micro Series

Compact and capable of supporting 3G-SDI and HDMI video at 1080p60, the Ranger Micro series features three different options for transmission distance—750, 2,500, and 5,000'. These compact units are designed for sports applications where your camera rig must remain lightweight and portable. Purchase a set of one transmitter and one receiver or just the individual units in Gold mount or V-mount selections. Because of Teradek's modular design, you can easily add transmitters to your preexisting receiver unit to build out your transmission ecosystem.

Ranger Mark II Series

If you're looking for a system that supports heavier-duty footage such as UHD 4K and HDR video, look no further than the Ranger Mark II series. It is available in three transmission distances—750, 2,500, and 5,000'—two battery-mount options, and features HDMI connectivity. These units are best suited for news and broadcast applications where high-quality footage is a priority. What differentiates the Mark II from the Micro is its support of 12G-SDI video for 4K resolution. The Mark II units can also be purchased as a set or as individual transmitters and receivers for a custom configuration to suit the number of cameras in your event space.

Both the Mark II and Micro series feature licensed and unlicensed frequency bands ranging from 5 GHz to the newly unlocked 6 GHz. These frequencies can be tuned in 5 MHz increments to find the optimal frequency for your event and avoid interference.

If you’re looking to add a reliable video transmission system to your live-event configuration, the Ranger Micro and Mark II might fill the bill. Build a system with the exact specs you need to improve the efficiency of your preexisting gear.
