Whether next year promises new family additions or more travel to far away destinations, Panasonic has got you covered with new ultra-portable camcorders featuring HD and 4K recording capabilities to capture moments you don’t want to miss. The HC-V900 and HC-VX3 boast similar form factors, precision autofocus, and 5-axis image stabilization with your choice of HD or 4K shooting capabilities.
Similar hardware design in both camcorder models guarantees high-quality video and still image creation. A ½.5” BSI MOS sensor, 4.12 to 98.9mm focal length lens, f/1.8 maximum aperture, and 24x optical zoom produce clear imagery whether you’re zoomed in or out. A flexible angle of view range ensures you don’t miss any of the action. High precision autofocus and 5-axis Hybrid O.I.S+ ensure blur-free video even while in motion or low-light conditions.
The HC-V900 can record up to 1080p60 video, while the HC-VX3 can record up to 4K30 video. The HC-VX3 also allows you to edit videos shot in 4K onboard and save them in 2K while zooming in, correcting camera shake, and following your main subject. Both cameras offer micro-HDMI, USB-C, microphone, and headphone connectivity, while the HC-VX3 also has a 3.5mm line input for microphones. Flip out the 3” LCD touchscreens on the camcorders to easily monitor your images. Ergonomically designed grips offer a secure handle for comfortable shooting of your child’s soccer game, whale watching tour, or birthday party.
