Great news for drone photographers: Tiffen has announced an all-new Filter Starter Kit designed specifically for the DJI Phantom 4 Pro and Phantom 4 Advanced quadcopters. The kit includes three essential filters: two neutral density (ND) filters and a polarizer (PL). The included ND8 and ND16 filters are 3- and 4-stop filters, respectively. Both will improve exposure control in certain lighting conditions, as well as enhance the overall image quality by reducing the dreaded rolling shutter or “jello” effect. The PL filter, meanwhile, adds contrast to blue skies and clouds and helps reduce glare and unwanted reflections. All three filters are essential tools in aerial photography and cinematography, allowing drone operators to capture the image they want.
