0Share

Announcing the ATOM 500 SDI video transmission system, Vaxis expands its multicast-capable ATOM line with an SDI version that offers both 3G-SDI and HDMI input and output. The new transmitter/receiver system carries 1080p60 H.265 video up to 500' with less than 80ms latency while letting you simultaneously multicast over Wi-Fi to four mobile devices using the ATOM app. Following suit with the rest of the ATOM line, the ATOM 500 SDI is compact and very lightweight. The transmitter can be mounted neatly and easily on top of your camera or even on your camera monitor. The antennas are built in and don’t stick out, adding to the compact form and ease of use.

Other key features include a built-in signal converter, manual channel scanning, and adjustable fan speed that allows you to control the noise level during a shoot. An OLED screen is also provided on the front for more efficient management of your settings. Both the transmitter and receiver feature L-series battery plates and also support power from USB sources via USB Type-C ports.
