Panasonic Lumix S1 & S1R - Hands-On Review

02/01/2019Link1

Check out our exclusive hands-on review of the brand new Panasonic S1 & S1R! These are Panasonic's first full-frame mirrorless cameras, based around the L-Mount system. With 24.2, and 47.3 megapixels respective, the S1 and S1R bring over many of the features from the previous Lumix line such as DFD Auto-Focus, Dual IS 2, High Resolution Mode, and more. We were lucky enough to get our hands on a fully functional S1, allowing us to test high ISO performance, 4k video, continuous shooting, and one of the brand new lenses, the 24-105mm f/4.

You mentioned there would be video comparisons or examples on this page but I don't see them. I love Panasonic cameras and own 2 GH4 and one GH5 and many lenses. I love what I'm seeing with this camera but I think it's too early to purchase due to the lack of available lenses. Of course, Sony and Nikon both went through this period with their large format cameras, too, so might wait a year to get serious until the lenses show up.
