Solar Eclipse 2017

On August 21, 2017, a total eclipse of the sun will cross the entire continental United States. The last time this happened in the USA was 99 years ago, on June 8, 1918. It is an event that will attract many millions of people from all over the world. If you plan on viewing the eclipse, remember to be safe! Viewing with unprotected eyes can cause permanent damage to your vision. Regular sunglasses do not provide enough protection.

B&H is committed to providing you with the best protection for your eyes and equipment. It makes no difference whether you are a casual viewer who just needs some basic solar glasses, or a viewing veteran in the market for a new solar telescope—we want you to have the best experience possible for this historic event. After all, it won’t be until 2024 that you’ll get another chance.

In addition to providing Solar Eclipse 2017 viewing equipment, we put together a few helpful articles to help you prepare.
