Pro Gel PG12 Overview

These Colour Lite Vivid Colors Gel Filters 12 x 12" (30 x 30 cm) include 12 consistently accurate, premium quality filters, made specifically for theatrical, motion picture, television and still photographic applications.

This pack includes 12 filters that provide exotic, theatrical colors for special effects.

Color dyes are selected for their resistance to high temperatures and dissolved in special fire retardant lacquers.
The dyed lacquer is applied to extraordinary clear, dimensionally stable, polymeric film.
Color control and consistency are maintained by a computerized spectrometer capable of correcting color application to within 0.0004 grams per square meter (~10.75 sq ft).

Great value - deep colors

good quality in terms of thickness and vibrant colors. I've only used amber and the green. (not together in the same shoot tho!) I will say that i got them out of order and it was difficult to tell some of the colors apart. You may want to put these in a pendaflex and label them or use a white marker to write in the margin. I bought two packs to ensure color matching. I was able to take one sheet and cut it into four 6x6 squares which fit perfectly over my Bowens mount adapters. and gaffer taped them in. No problems with melting. When taped to the Bowens mount they were not touching the flat flash head (I used AD200) not the bulb head. I also draped the green gel over the AD200 because I was in a time crunch and for the 16 shots it did not melt the gel. So I'm very happy with the gels. Just need to organize them from the outset.
