Wide-angle zoom is designed for FUJIFILM X-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 15-36mm equivalent focal length range.
Constant f/4 maximum aperture offers consistent performance throughout the zoom range and also helps to realize a relatively compact and lightweight design.
Three extra-low dispersion elements are used to reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations in order to produce high clarity and color fidelity throughout the zoom range.
Four aspherical elements control distortion and spherical aberrations, which helps to improve sharpness and realize more accurate rendering.
Super EBC coating has been applied to individual elements to reduce lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions.
Stepping motor, along with an internal focusing design, affords fast and quiet autofocus performance that benefits both stills and video applications.
Optical image stabilization minimizes the appearance of camera shake to better enable handheld shooting with slower shutter speeds.
Rounded seven-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing out-of-focus quality to benefit the use of selective focus and shallow depth of field techniques.

What hood will not cause dark conners at 10mm (110angle). The Fuji hood i have with lens unfortunately does it?
Asked by: Evsei
The original lens hood included with the purchase of the Fujifilm XF 10-24mm F4 R OIS Lens would be the best option to reduce the occurrence of vignetting. Unfortunately, we do not carry the original lens hood included with the purchase of the Fujifilm XF 10-24mm F4 R OIS Lens as a separate accessory. You may wish to contact Fujifilm directly to inquire about a replacement lens hood. You may search for MFR # 027B013246460.

question

How effective is the image stabilization on this lens? I do not often use a tripod and own the 16-55. Very sharp in most instances. I notice very few comments on this subject.
Asked by: Kenneth
I have a photo taken underneath the Eiffel tower, after a very long day, very unstable, handheld, at 10 mm. It wasn’t until I got home and loaded it into my computer that I realized I shot this at 1/10 of one second. I’ll try to add the photo to the review. The iOS is amazing.

Which way does this lens focus. Is it like a canon in which you rotate to the right and it focuses closer or is it like a nikon lens and focuses the opposite way...?
Asked by: Patrick
You rotate the lens' focusing ring to the left to reduce the focus distance, and rotate the focusing ring to the right to increase the focus distance out to infinity. However, you may go into the menu and go to BUTTON/DIAL SETTING > FOCUS RING to reverse the direction of rotation of the focus ring.
