    Behringer P1 reviews

POWERPLAY P1 Personal In-Ear Monitor Headphone Amplifier is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from PowerPlay Lacks Power I recently bought two of these units to use for Live in ear monitor amplification and I was hoping that their performance followed suit with other recent behringer products that I have purchased that were very good. I opened up one unit and it seemed well built with the exact feature set I was looking for. The case was a bit large but I atrributed that to the need to accomodate the XLR input connectors. The one problem that I could not live with was their Lack of output power. They would not drive a set of IEM's never mind a full size set of head phones for a drummer. Unfortunately Behringer needs to take these back to the drawing board.Let me know when you have and I will give them another shot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice concept but not worth it This device was used with a digital mixer to provide musicians with control of their personal monitor mix as well as in-ear monitors which helped to eliminate sound bleeds from traditional monitors. However, the construction of the battery connectors was poorly done which led to cut wires for four of six monitors within three months of purchase. Nice but not worth it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works well Box is sturdy, but battery door is flimsy. When I close it I have to try a few times to get it to close properly. The two XLR inputs (L/R) makes this heavy on the belt due to the pull of two cables. PreSonus HP2 has uses a stereo mini XLR to two female XLR Y-cable, making it much lighter on the hip. Also, I would prefer if the power supply were included for an extra $10 rather than as a separated purchase. I'll keep it in the toolbox as a spare, but not my first choice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Versatile, but a tad underpowered. I am using this as a quick and dirty boom operator headphone amp. The price is certainly right. I wish the amp had a bit more gain. The battery clip is a bit flimsy. However, for the price, the overall build and design is fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bang For Your Buck I'm a drummer and been wanting to use in ears for a while. This was very affordable and thought I'd give it a try.Was very impressed with the sound quality of this for the price paid. I could here everything clearly and not to sharp sounding as I would expect from this price range. Cannot go wrong with this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PowerPlay is powerful Great little box. Not only have I had use for it as an in-ear monitor amp for recording, I've repurposed it to function as a personal mixer for my intercom system as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the money. Great affordable in-ear monitor solution for a drummer or other musicians that don't have to move around a stage. Go straight from the mixer aux out to the belt pack.
