The Deluxe Auto Focus Extension Tube Set for Sony E Mount from Vello allows your full-frame or APS-C lens to focus closer than its normal minimum focus distance. By placing distance between your camera body and lens, focusing distance is shortened and the effect of magnifying your subject is created. Extension tubes enable macro performance for lenses not otherwise able to focus that close, and are also suited for close-up portraiture.

The Deluxe Auto Focus Extension Tube Set for Sony E mount contains two extension tubes of 10mm and 16mm lengths. They can be used individually or together to create the desired magnification effect. For closer focusing use the larger extension tube or stack the tubes together. It is even possible to stack these two tubes with others from another set. Extension tubes have no optical elements so they do not degrade the quality of your lenses.

These are fully automatic extension tubes in that they are able to communicate all electronic functions from lens to camera including autofocus and auto exposure. They are built with metal lens mounts for durability and longevity and enable you to convert almost any lens into a macro lens at a fraction of the cost while maintaining the lens' original optical quality.

Shortens minimum focusing distance of lens for macro photography.
Extension tubes of 10mm and 16mm lengths can be used individually or together for greater magnification.
Full autofocus and exposure compatibility
Lightweight design with metal mounts
Alignment markers make placement on lenses and cameras easy
Fits full-frame and APS-C Sony E cameras and Sony E lenses.

Deluxe Auto Focus Extension Tube Set for Sony E Mount is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 60.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely happy with the product... I'm a Nikon D800 shooter but, due to equipment weight and bulk, I added a Sony Alpha a7II to my camera bag. With that said, I was homesick for my 150mm macro lens. Adding budget constraints to the mix, I thought I'd give these extension tubes a go. So far, I've been surprised and really pleased with the results. I coupled these with the 28-70mm kit lens. The camera operated flawlessly...full auto focus was engaged as well as all other camera-provided data. There is some 'play' in the rings but I don't feel that compromises the function of the lens or camera in any way. Love the product - cannot wait to get out with these again for some fun!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exceeded my expectations I use these extension tubes on my Sony A7R2. The auto focus works great and then can be fine tuned with focus peaking. I've only had these a few weeks but gave them a good workout on a recent trip to Acadia National Park in Maine. I shot some nice macros of very small mushrooms and lichens on the forest floor. I've attached some samples that were all shot hand held with only natural light. I'm very pleased with the results and not having to lay out big bucks for a macro lens. I only deducted one start because the rings did not come with a small case to protect the contacts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not the cheapest but sometimes quality is worth investing The tubes fit well, offer the comfort of a metal ring both sides for a firmer seal and the electrical contacts seem to bind well without pinching on the main camera body (unlike some of the Sony lenses!) In use they are quick and easy to attach, do exactly what all the other extension tubes do but in a more premium way. I had a cheaper set of plastic Meiko extension tubes which worked OK on the Sony a6000 but cropped on the A7, these offer full frame compatibility and with a 24-240mm lens still feel very supportive of the main lens without any risk of failure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Doing well, fitting can be better I shoot with 55mm f1.8 and the 28-70 kit lens with these extension tubes. Excellent solution for macro shooting without buying a macro lens. The tubes themselves are rugged and of good quality. However, the fitting with the body is not tight enough, there is some room for play. The fitting with the lenses is good. Aperture control and autofocus work well, even though I used manual focus most of the time. Putting the 2 tubes together require using the levers, it takes a little bit to figure out (at least for me), but eventually this too work out. All in all, good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value for $ These extension tubes work really well. I have no reason to complain over the past six months that I have used them. Extension tubes are by their very nature only as good as the lenses they are used with. I have used these with the autofocusing Sony FE 70-200mm as well as manual lenses, and a Canon 50mm f/1.4, on the Sony a7II and NEX-7. Shorter focal length lenses will usually yield the best results. These tubes lock solidly with no play and no vignetting. They can be used singly or together. They are a great value for the money if you need occasionally to photograph macro subjects. However if you are constantly in need of a macro lens for professional purposes you may be better serviced with a dedicated Macro lens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turns normal E mount lenses to macro easily and cheaply For about 60 bucks at B&H, I get two extension tubes which turn my Sony lenses into fully-synced macros, at a fraction of cost of buying any new macro lens. Tried each and both(stacked) on my a6300 with sony 16-70 f4 and sony 55-210. All combos equally functional. Seems easier to work with on 16-70 at about 50 mm than 55-210 but short trial so might be fine on tele zoom with a little practice. No tripod. Pics great (IS works). I tended to use MF but AF works and AE certainly does! Should be good with kit lens but mine is with my NEX6 out west so couldn't test it. Construction and fit seem excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value For The Money. Works Great!!! Those Auto Extension Tubes Work Great On My a7MII I pair it with my 55mm zeiss f1.8 to get a little closer to my objects and it works wonderfully. it also works great on my 30mm sigma art len . even when I pair it with my fotodiox adapter for canon it work great with the canon lens , you get the auto focus and all the information, so it just a win win little gem. worth the money , it small and slide into the bag and you get almost like macro len but 1/10 the price. Recommended!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible value poor quality but it works It gets two stars because it works as its supposed to. The mount is metal (probably some kind of cheap aluminum alloy) but the rest is plastic. It feels flimsy and will sag when all but the lightest lenses are attached. If you don't plan on using these often or with heavy macro lenses, just buy the plastic version. For the price I paid, I would never recommend these. I'd say $25 is a fair price. I don't expect these to last very long. With that said, they do work. Autofocus works within the limited focal range and the lens' image stabilizer also works just fine. The only reason I am keeping these is because for now there seems to be no better alternative with a reasonable price tag.
