The Shinybow 8x8 HDMI 4K2K Matrix Switcher with EDID allows you to route eight HDMI inputs to eight HDMI outputs in different configurations. Any input can be routed to any output, to all outputs, or to a combination of outputs.
The switcher supports resolutions up to 4K, including 1080p/i, and 3D video, with up to 36-bit color depth. It also features seven modes of EDID management. Routing selections can be controlled via the front panel, included remote control, RS-232 serial control, or TCP/IP control (not a web browser). An RS-232 Windows GUI interface is included for RS-232 control. An IR receiver supporting 984 ft of IR distance is included for remote control of the switcher from the room with the displays. A rackmount set is supplied for installing the switcher in a 1 RU 19" rack.
The HDMI connections support 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound audio, MAT (MLP), Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital Plug/ex, DTS, DTSES 6CH, DTS-HD, DTS-HD-HRA, DTS-HD Master, DTS-EX, PCM, PCM2, and LPCM2.
