Breathe new life into your Nikon F-mount lens by using it on a fresh Micro Four Thirds-mount camera with the Fotodiox Vizelex ND Throttle Adapter, which even features a built-in variable ND filter for added control over your exposure. Designed for Nikon F-mount lenses, this adapter will support G-type lenses thanks to the implementation of a manual aperture control ring. The integrated ND filter of the Vizelex offers a 0.3 to 2.4 filter factor, which translates into a wide range of 1 to 8 stops. This makes the adapter ideal for videographers and photographers who may want to make quick adjustments to their filtration throughout the day. The ND filter can be used to lengthen the shutter speed or use larger apertures when working in bright sunlight. Also, the placement of the filter within the adapter means that switching lenses does not require users to fiddle with additional filters and it will even work with lenses that do not have a filter thread. Additionally, this filter is constructed of both brass and aluminum for a durable construction and precise fit with your equipment that guarantees infinity focus.

Nikon F Lens to Micro Four Thirds Camera Vizelex ND Throttle Adapter is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great idea! This is a great product with built in variable ND filter into the adaptor. It means I don't have to buy one ND per lens or remove and reinstall the ND filter after I change the lens. The compromise is the lost of one stop due to the min. effect of the variable ND. However, it happens to any variable ND in the market. The product is great when I use the 70-200/4 lens with my G6 / GH2 and filming mostly 24P. I can mount my lens on the tripod and some other prime lenses. However, It is not suitable to use it with a relatively heavy lens. i.e. 24-120/4, 24-70/2.8, etc. I would suggest the manufacturer to add a tripod mount below the adaptor like the metabones does. The flow of the focus ring is a bit short in compare with the metabones but I am fine with this because I seldom change the aperture during filming.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice compact Vari ND This is a nice piece of kit. But you have to be aware that there are two polariser in action to make your VariND. This means that : 1) it does affect the polarised light like reflection of windows, sky,... 2) when you use another polariser on the lens (to work on a reflection for example) you'll get strange blue to orange white ballance shift. To avoid this do not use any (polarised) VariND mount (use ND on the lense) and avoid to use a third polariser on the lens.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super handy adapter I bought this adapter to use with my GH4 & a Tamron 150-600mm lens, & also with a Rokinon 10mm lens. The Tamron lens has a 95mm front thread, so buying any number of filters would have been expensive & also a pain to put on/change. When i'm shooting wildlife, there is rarely time for me to be mucking around with lens filters so the ability to dial in the amount of ND that i need to expose correctly is a godsend! The 10mm Rokinon lens has no filter thread, & that didn't bother me since i use it mainly for nighttime time lapses. With this adapter however, i can now use it for landscapes when the sun is a little higher in the sky & still keep my shutter speed at a respectable level. On a downside, the aperture & ND rings are a little difficult to use being quite slippery. I also have a small scratch between the two ND filters but that doesn't seem to effect the image quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must get for the portable video or photo rig I'm using this ND throttle for time-lapses, outdoor video, action photography & portrait photography. It works great with my GH4 and Nikon lenses. It's super lightweight and provides the great convenience of having multi nd's without slogging a bagful of filters with you. It saves me a lot of time and headaches. What are you waiting for? Click purchase already. Sheesh!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not as sharp Lenses fit tightly to this adapter. The only issue is that the ND filter reduces the sharpness of the lens. It's not an issue for wide angle lenses, but it is with telephoto lenses. On a 50mm with the adapter, photos look slightly bloomy in bright areas. If you're looking for a basic adapter, this will do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect No issues it works as promised. 2 to 10 Stops with no crisscrossing marks in the image when stopped down to 10. Not everyone will get the same results. In all honesty, you would really have to know what you are doing with this, like any photo tool.
