So, since this is a Virtual mixer only with no direct interface capability with a hardware control surface. And only Ipad/Apple capable. How would you connect directly to the unit, and control it in the event of a Wifi Failure?
Asked by: Anonymous
you don' the event of a Wi-fi Failure (that never happened in a Makie DL series mixer yet) the mixer stays in the last status it was in....I suggest to have another ipad ready, or iphone (limited features) or Ipad mini in case you loose/break your ipad during a showGreat unit..

Can all 32 of the XLR inputs be set to line level input and defeat the mic preamps?
Asked by: Anonymous
All channels may accept a balanced mic or line-level signal using an XLR connector. They are wired as follows, according to standards specified by the AES (Audio Engineering Society).XLR Balanced Wiring:Pin 1 = Shield (ground) Pin 2 = Positive (+ or hot) Pin 3 = Negative ( or cold) In addition to accepting balanced mic or line-level signals using an XLR connector, channels 25-32 may also accept 1/4 line-level signals driven by balanced or unbalanced sources.

what type of router to use for this unit?
Asked by: Anonymous
The DL32R connects to any suitable thirdparty wireless router via a standard Ethernet cable. Netgear brand routers are popular and you can take a look at one here: <a href= target= _blank >;/a>
