This 25-sheet pack of 13 x19" Rice Paper from Hahnemuhle is a white, 100% alpha-cellulose laid-finished paper designed for fine art reproductions of Asian ink paintings (Sumi-e). The matte paper features a basis weight of 100 gsm, a thickness of 5.9 mil, a whiteness of 88%, and an opacity of 85%. The paper is also water resistant, has no optical brightening agents (OBA), and is both acid free and calcium carbonate buffered for longevity.

Apart from being twice the thickness of Moab Moenkopi Unryu paper, how does the surface texture compare to Moab's paper?
I have made very satisfactory prints on Hahnemuhle rice paper. I have used both a Canon and Epson printer with success. This is a heavy, largely opaque paper compared to Unryu that I have used. The Hahnemuhle surface is even and uniform in texture. Hope that helps. Bruce C

Dies this paper come in a smaller size, say 8 1/2 by 11?
As of the writing of this post, Hahnemühle Rice Paper is only in our catalog as a 13x19 sheet, which can be cut down to size.
