Kodak AZ421 overview

  • 1Description

With an optically stabilized 42x zoom lens you can capture subjects near and far with the black PIXPRO AZ421 Digital Camera from Kodak. The AZ421 utilizes a 16.15-megapixel 1/2.3" CCD image sensor to produce high resolution imagery and works with a 4.3-180.6mm lens, 35mm equivalent of 24-1008mm, for everything from wide group shots to distant wildlife. Additionally, it has a 3.0" 460k-dot rear LCD screen which allows for composition and image review during both stills and HD 1280 x 720p video recording at up to 30 fps.

For working in low-light conditions, the AZ421 features a built-in pop-up flash unit that can add some light when needed. There are also a variety of specialty features such as a 180° panorama mode. The camera will save these images and video to SD/SDHC cards up to 32GB and it runs off a rechargeable Li-ion battery pack. The AZ421 is also compatible with Eye-Fi cards.

    Kodak AZ421 reviews

PIXPRO AZ421 Digital Camera (Black) is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good family camera It’s a good family camera, the picture quality is very good, and for day to day things like birthdays, weddings, graduations and vacations, I would say you cannot beat the value for the money. That said, it’s not a good camera for fast action, weather it be pictures or video. The auto focus is really slow and in fast action it fails to react on time. Another thing that I noticed is that the image gets too “jumpy” when it’s too far away, so minute movements from your hand, translates into complete loss of the objective. For a day to day use, I would definitely buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looking forward to great pictures! Great camera, had to download the users guide. I'm old school and would have liked a complete users guide to have come with the camera. It could be enhanced with an eye view finder. I find screens sometimes difficult to see in back lit situations. Fits my smallish hands nicely.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would not buy this camera. I was very disappointed with the quality of the photos. It can't focus on faces in a darker setting and all photos came out blurry. Photos outside in the light were not too bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice camera So fast I am really enjoying it. Only negative thing is that it doesn't come with a how to use book but to my understanding there is one on line to download. I prefer a book.
