I bought this because it was on sale, but I was VERY happy when I received it and saw the high quality. Sachtler heads are world-famous, and it seems like this bag is made with that legacy in mind.

Perfect size for rigged RED

I've tried several systems for a rigged cinema camera. One soft case is MASSIVE with tons of pockets and takes up sooooo much room and is overkill. Other soft bags are too small, will hold a cinema camera with a medium lens and a Vlock, and that's about it. I have several Pelicans that are GREAT for travel, but bulky and not suitable for pulling a rig out quickly and shooting. What I needed was protection, but a soft case that takes up minimal room but is tall enough and can hold some extra items for quick in the car, out to shoot, back in the car, out to shoot, etc. I have a top Sachtler tripod, and the engineering is impeccable. So I pulled the trigger on this case....and it's perfect. I have a Komodo X with an integrated Kessler base and carbon fibre rods, usually a Canon f2 24-70, or Tokina Vista V 40mm, or a Canon 70-200 on the RED. I have a DSMC3 Small HD screen, I have a Nano left grip running a focus pull on a cinema lens, or a fixed grip with the Canon AF lenses. This bag is JUST tall enough and JUST wide enough to make this work, with a travel kit and extra Vlock battery inside. I can also fit a 2nd lens inside the case, wrapped or in a lens zip case. Note, there are NO exteral pockets, so to speak. They are zippered flat panel pockets outside the case, but they are tight, suitable for documents, an ND filter, or CF cards, but only for something thin and flat. They are NOT battery or accessory pockets. Which is fine, that was not my need...I want a fast run-and-gun case in the car seat beside me for fast day shooting. I can carry backup gear in a separate bag; I just need a case for a ready-to-go rig, and this case is tops for that.

Yes, the Sachtler Camporter Camera Bag (Small) would hold the Canon XA75 camera with the mic attached. Please note the length of the bag is 16", and your camera length with the mic will need to be under that measurement to fit. Bag size - Small - Interior 16.1 x 9.4 x 8.3" / 41 x 24 x 21 cm

It might be tricky, but it should if I remember the size of the C300 Mark II correctly. I use this bag for my C100 Mark I and pretty much all of my accessories, and it works just fine.

Will this fit a Sony FS7 with a bottom plate and the extension?

I was able to fit FS7 with Fuji 18-55mm lens with anton bauer mount. I leave the viewfinder and mic mount on, but tuck them into the camera body. It also has room for the second Fuji lens, the anton bauer batter, rails and handle. I also squeeze in a couple wireless mics in a bag. This is technically larger than allowed on the plane, but it looks close enough so I haven't had an issue. It does not fit in small regional planes at all. I just take the camera body out with battery and gate check the bag on small planes. It doesn't require breaking it down at all except for the battery which is great for ENG shoots.
