Very overpriced for the qualit

It works, though Porta-Trace's claim that it virtually eliminates hotspot is a little exaggerated. More disappointing is the the lack of build quality. It's just a thin metal box with a sheet of white PVC screwed to it. Inside are a series of white dome shaped LEDs that are fixed to the bottom with some kind of adhesive tape. When mine arrived 4 of these sets had become unstuck and needed to be put back in place to even the light. The LED stings are wired together with 2 Marr connected, both of which were not secured properly causing the lights string to lose power and go out at the slightest touch. Honestly for this price I shouldn't have to glue down the lights and fix their bad electrical wiring for them.

I mean LCD... If the light starts to turn yellow and wavers in intensity (banding). Can I buy replacement LCDs?

The LED arrays inside the Porta-Trace / Gagne 1824 Stainless Steel LED Light Box are not user-replaceable. For assistance in replacing the LED lamps, or if you have issues with the quality of the fixture, you would have to contact the manufacturer Porta-Trace / Gagne to inquire about inspecting the unit and/or sending the unit in for repair/replacement.
