I found the light falls in a weird square-ish shape close-up, but is still usable. Excellent for lighting small products, but I have has a little less luck with people shoots — a little more practice with this modifier would probably help. Great for creative wedding ring shots.

I just got into the MagMod line and I am very happy with the results. Great snoot, easy to use, 4 different levels to work with. The color card even fits inside the snoot itself so you dont need the specific color holder for this one.

I've owned most of MagMod stuff for years. For some reason I never acquired the snoot, prob from being an inexperienced, but enthusiastic novice. Its incredible useful and accurate for control light, much more so than the grids.

will it fit the profoto a1?
The A1 face is round and large compared to typical speed lights. The mag mod snoot was not made for the A1. I suppose if you were determined you might force the issue but why bother?

Is it competible with Godox V860?
Yes. I have a couple v860ii and the mounting device MagGrip fits just fine. So the entire MagMod system works since they all mate to the grip.

Does this snoot needs an adapter extra for using with a Youngno apeedlight? If so which one ?
If you are buying the snoot by itself you will need the MagGrip, which is the main one that goes onto your speed light that can also be used with the other MagMod products. If you are not already using MagMod products you will need to get the MagGrip for your speed light. I hope this answers your question.
