question

Unable to decide between the 1x3 and 2x3 OCF. Would anybody, who's used or own both give me their advice on the same ?
Asked by: Anonymous
I have both and use the 1x3 mostly with a diffuser grid for rim lighting and highlights- it casts a great highlight light on something reflective like a car's hood or a bottle. I use the 2x3 more often for general lighting and find it produces a nice, flattering light that I generally only get from larger soft boxes. I'd say I use the 2x3 about twice as much as I use the strip ocf.

question

Do you need to purchase the speed ring for this? I have a B1.
Asked by: Franck
As others stated, yes. You need the OCF speedring for OCF modifiers, you need the RFI speedring for RFI modifiers. Both OCF and RFI speedings fit both B1 and B2 heads.

question

is this compatible with acute packs and heads?
Asked by: jaclyn g.
You need the different adapter. If you use the standard one for normal rfi soft boxes it will not work on the ocf boxes. Plus the quality is ehhhh, at best.
