This 2 x 3' Profoto OCF Softbox is part of the Off Camera Flash accessory system intended for to B1s and B10s OCF Flash Heads. Light weight and speed are evident throughout its construction. The fixed front diffuser saves on setup time, as do the color-coded support rods that mount quickly to the separately-purchased, patent-pending speed ring. This 2 x 3' softbox is an all-around go-to light shaper for portraiture, group or large product work. An optional fabric grid is available to narrow the softbox's beam and add directional control.

    I am using this light for table top cross Light photography, and wow, it has beautiful soft light and wrap around the subject. I would recommend this to anyone watching a soft light that works beautifully with the pro photo a 10.

    Pricey but it's profoto.

    As opposed to others here who complained about this modifier, I have no complaints, except of course the price. It is easy to assemble and break down, it is very light (compared to full size strobe modifiers) and works well. I used them (this 2x3 and a strip 1x3) on a pair of profoto B2, and indeed the rings feel a bit flimsy, but the overall weight of the system is very attractive on location. I shoot both full length portraits and products, it works well for that size job. It would have gotten 5 stars but for the ridiculous price of these modifiers and rings. There are cheaper alternative, of course, but don't mess with lighting.

    How small does this soft box pack down and how long is the longest rod?

    The softbox collapses into the nicely included vinyl bag, which measures 28 x 6 by 1.5 . All the rods are the same length (26 ).

    2x3 for general portraits as a main light and a 1x3 for accent , edge or rim light .

    is this compatible with acute packs and heads?

    You need the different adapter. If you use the standard one for normal rfi soft boxes it will not work on the ocf boxes. Plus the quality is ehhhh, at best.
