The red with tan leather Slide Camera Strap SL-L-2 from Peak Design is an adjustable camera strap that can be worn as a sling, shoulder, or neck strap. It features Peak Design's unique Anchor Link system to quickly attach and detach the strap from your camera. Two latches on the strap allow for one-handed adjustment to the strap's length from 39" to 54"..

To wear the Slide as a sling-style strap, one side of the strap attaches to the included Arca-type compatible QR plate on the bottom of the camera, and the other attaches to the standard strap loop on the top. One side of the strap is smooth, so that you can easily slide your camera up to your eye when using the strap as a sling. The other side has a gripped surface for using the Slide as a shoulder or neck strap. The Slide is compatible with all versions of Peak Design's Capture camera clips.

Slide Camera Strap SL-L-2 (Red with Tan Leather) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 358.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from excellent quality I have a Nikon d3200. This strap is better paired with bigger cameras. To big for a d3200 or canon SL1. The quality is so much better than stock straps. It also looks way better than other strap you buy elsewhere. What I found that bothered me was that the quick adjusting system is insecure. The silver levers don't hold the desired length in place. You need to pulled them up to then adjust the length of the strap and then push then back down. However even when locked I am still able to adjust length just as easily, seems like the silver levers are not important. The peak design leash does not use these levers and is much lighter and less cumbersome.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As good as advertised Since receiving the Peak Design Slide strap I have used it on 2 long outings. One was a hike to a waterfall where it performed just like I had hoped. I was carrying a tripod and some other equipment but the camera stayed on the back of my hip not bouncing even while I was climbing up and down hill. The second time was at a festival and even with the 18-140 lens I sometime forgot I was carrying a camera because it sat so still. I like mostly that the camera sits behind you,in strap mode, out of the way but is easy to grab and shoot. My only problem is that the tripod mount doesn't fit my older tripod but Im going to replace the tripod anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Very functional, nice slick material for no-fuss movement. I went out walking for an hour with a Sony A-6000 with attached FE 70-200 and the PERFECTLY executed length adjustment buckle can easily transfer from short (riding above waist on back) to loose and long for comfortable shooting, and back. Having 2 anchor points. one on left side of camera, and 2nd, on the bottom tripod mount, keeps everything stable, AND keeps the right side of the camera free of annoying obstructions. I'm 6'1 and find it long enough, but, if they could make it a few inches longer, it could give the dual buckle adjustments a bit more range/flexibility.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable but slips. Great design. I really like the quick disconnect from the camera. It's very comfortable, I walk around NYC all day with my D810, battier grip and 14-24mm lens, no problem. When it's time to put the camera back into the camera case you can easily and quickly take the strap off the camera and put in a side pocket. Then you don't have camera strap tangle or clips banging against your lens and other equipment. I was concerned about that with the big metal clips on the strap. The reason I gave it 3 stars, by the end of the day the camera had slipped down about 2. The strap latches don't hold the strap securely in place after several hours of use the strap slips. But it's very comfortable, that and the other features out way the strap slipping annoyance for my use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A brilliant design! A Fabulous Camera Strap that WORKS! I love products that REALLY work - especially when they work THE FIRST TIME! This design is brilliant! Easy to attach to the camera (I've got mine on both Canon and Leicas) and even better, in less than 30 seconds, I can get the straps off - and attached to another camera! Very adjustable - and the design makes it the work of seconds to make the strap shorter or longer! (Peak Design - in your next iteration - make it possible to make the strap even shorter as I like to tuck my Lecias close under my right arm) so there are lots of ways to use it. I'm rough on products but this strap can take it! Fabulous!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good strap, NOT RED The strap is excellent, just like the regular black one that I've been using since last year. Its color, however, is not a proper red as depicted in the photos here, it is more of a wine color, not as attractive in my opinion. See the picture I uploaded to get an idea.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Only one problem I'm using the PD Slide Strap in cross body mode. This is the fifth camera strap I've tried and maybe - just maybe - this is the last. Most other straps slip up and down and I was constantly adjusting it. My cameras bounced around, too. Not fun. I can honestly say the Slide does NOT slip up and down. You can easily adjust the length for when you are shooting and need the swing, or walking along and need to hold your camera stable. Really ... the camera does NOT bounce around banging into your back, hips, or thighs. Amazing! The Slide feels real sturdy and I'm confident it will hold my camera safely. I just spent 5 hours at a zoo with my Canon 6D with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens plus 2x teleconverter. My camera/lens felt secure. ONE problem: The strap occasionally slides UP to my neck and can be uncomfortable. I wrote to the manufacturer, asking how to solve the problem and the reply indicates that some shoulders are built that way and a few other people have reported the same issue. I guess there's no way to work around it except to pull the strap down once it creeps up too high into my neck. I thought about returning the PD Slide Camera Strap, but it's just too good to give up. I'll deal with the one issue because everything else is just fine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sometimes improvements are not improvements I've liked the Peak straps because I use some expensive electronic gear professionally and they're easy to adjust and I don't see how one could break or come loose. So, I've sucked up the price. Recently I ordered another one for a new piece of gear. Bad news. It arrives with a cushion built into the strap. Peak says this is to cushion the weight on neck or shoulders but it is quite stiff and thus not comfortable. It's so stiff that when I put the gear and strap into a large Domke bag the cushion pops straight up. Improvements are good but I don't see how Peak could have gone ahead with this
