The x4 Display Wall Controller from DATAPATH is a stand-alone display wall controller that accepts a standard single or dual-link DVI input, and can flexibly display it across four output monitors via four DVI outputs.

Each output can be driven as DVI or analog RGB, and can represent an arbitrary crop region of the original input image. The output resolution and frame rate does not need to be related to that of the input, as the display controller will optionally upscale and frame-rate convert each cropped region independently.

Accepts dual-link DVI, single-link DVI or HDMI input
Supports both DVI and analog RGB output monitors
Supports image overlapping
High quality scaler and frame rate converter
Bezel or gap correction, arbitrary cropping, frame locking, and rotation & mirroring

x4 Display Wall Controller is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed I have been performing live video remixes like this: And wanted to try a multi-spatial format - where instead of having one big screen behind me with my 4 video clips showing up on the same projection, I would have 4 separate projections in the 4 corners of the venue. My laptop doesn't have enough outputs (or processing power) to power 4 projectors, so after some research I bought this Datapath x4. It worked out of the box - no latency issues whatsoever. I have had one performance where it was running for a few hours without a glitch. Psyched to use it for more immersive audio-visual performances.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I purchased it because I needed it for a project... I purchased it because I needed it for a project. It came highly recommended as a replacement for the Matrox TH2Go because that device can not output in broadcast video standards. I now see why. Once I purchased the right input cable (DVI-D) I was able to input the exact frame size and rate I needed to from an old MacPro. While the software was helpful, it could use a few GUI updates. But if you know a decent amount about video, you shouldn't have a problem. I was then able to output two channels to the very picky BMD ATEM 2/ME switcher through some HDMI to SDI converter boxes. Datapath has really impressed me with this product. The price is a bit steep, but they make up for it in function. Only issue I did have with it was the control software for OS X. I could never even find the app, so I have no idea if it works. I just connected it to my control PC. I will update this if any issues spring up in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easiest Way to Set-up and Install a Video Wall...EVER It is simple, it works great, but it does cost a good amount. I would recommend this product to anyone that is wanting something that works as advertised and has a little extra $$ to pay for the ease of use. This device deserves 5 stars, but it drops a bit due to the price tag! I will be buying more in the future though!
