The IN1 Double Action Ball Head from Benro has an Arca-type compatible quick-release system with an included PU60 QR plate. It can hold up to 17 lb, stands 3.4" high, and weighs 11.2 oz. A large locking knob controls the ball's motion and the 360° panning, and a separate knob adjusts the friction control. A numbered scale on the base helps you accurately repeat pans, and a bubble helps ensure that the head is level to the horizon.

    Benro IN1 reviews

IN1 Double Action Ball Head is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for Wildlife Photography and Landscapes I like that this ball head that, unlike many others, allows you to pan up as well as down. Shooting mostly from a tripod, this makes covering birds in trees to bird landing on water much easier. Well built head holds my Canon 6d and 150-600mm lens firmly. The only weird thing is that the friction knob and locking lever do the exact same thing....so not sure why they have two knobs when one would do...but no matter, this is still a very good ball head. One feature I like most is that you can attach the quick release plate to your camera without having to search for a nickel or quarter to use as a tool. There is a nifty built-in ring that flips up to tighten the mount....very nice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Well Made I purchased this for two reasons; first, I wanted a ball head that was designed with cutouts to tilt up as well as down. I do some nature photography and this feature comes in handy when out in the wild. Secondly, I love the mounting plate. You can put the mount on your camera without tools and this makes changing the plate from one body or lens to another very easy. The drag on the ball is controlled by the smaller friction knob, but drag is also controlled by the locking lever. Either seem to lock the ball solidly in place, so I'm not entirely sure why two separate knobs were used. Ballhead is very solid and built to last. I love the system that locks the mounting plate into the ballhead mount. It's made so that it's nearly impossible to accidentally slide your camera out of the mount. The only criticism I have of this is that the ball action is a little rough, but I expect that is just because it's new...and not a deal killer at all. You'll be happy with this head, and if you have some expensive glass like I have, you'll feel confident when you mount your gear on this Benro Ball Head. I put my 600mm Tamron and Canon 6D body on this and it felt very solid - even when tilted. If you are looking for a better ballhead in this price range, I wish you luck. This is a no-brainer as far as quality and price are concerned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful and Easy to Use Sturdy, nicely designed overall, and easy to use. However, the tension control provides almost no range between locked and free motion. I use it on my camera slide.
