SanDisk 128GB UHS-I Micro SDXC overview

  • 1Description

The SanDisk 128GB microSDXC Memory Card Ultra Class 10 UHS-I with SD Adapter is a micro-size Secure Digital Extended Capacity memory card. With 128GB of data storage capacity, the card provides ample space for photos and videos captured with your camera or smartphone. It offers an SD Class 10 rating along with an Ultra High Speed Class 1 rating, for read speeds up to 80 MB/s and lower write speeds that should at least be able to exceed the Class 10 minimum of 10 MB/s. These speeds make the card ideal for capture and transfer of full HD 1080p video. A built-in write-protect switch found on the SD adapter prevents accidental data loss.

You can insert the card into any microSDXC-compatible device, such as a mobile phone. Plus, the included SD adapter enables you to insert the card into any full-sized SD slot, making it compatible with SDXC-compatible devices like digital cameras and card readers. As far as durability, this compact memory solution is waterproof, protected against airport X-rays, and capable of withstanding up to 500G of shock. It's also backed by a lifetime limited warranty in the USA and other parts of the world, and a 10-year warranty in Germany, Canada, and regions not recognizing lifetime warranties.

Note: While the card is waterproof and therefore capable of withstanding rain and splashes, it is not guaranteed submersible

SanDisk 128GB UHS-I Micro SDXC reviews

128GB microSDXC Memory Card Ultra Class 10 UHS-I with SD Adapter is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 149.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was worried about speed, but performed excellently Bought this to use in my new Moto G4. Since the Marshmallow update, the micro SD can be reformatted as internal storage. This pretty much makes paying the premium from 16gb to 32gb internal storage obsolete. Although I was worried about the speed of the card compared to the speed of the internal storage (ie. slowed down apps when loaded on micro SD). I am glad to report that no such slowing down was noticed. The SD card works perfectly as have all my SanDisk cards. I paid $10 extra for the SanDisk brand over PNY because I have never had a bad experience with SanDisk cards myself (over 10 SanDisk cards). With this card and 16gb of internal storage, I get effectively 133gb of storage on my phone. Highly recommended for expanding phone storage!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As advertised I just finished transferring over 56GB of data to this micro card in my phone. It took about 2 weeks at 24 hours a day. I would guess it was mostly the slow computer converting and transferring the files that took the time but could be the card also. Before this card I bought an el-cheepo 250gb (that I found out doesn't really exist by reputable manufacturers ) that would only accept 14gb of data even though the directory said 250 available. So far this card is taking all I'm giving it. This one plays movies back just fine without a hitch. As has always been the case with me, B&H has integrity, selling only good stuff, fast, reliable and honest with high standards.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Go with a Proven Brand Name This card was purchased to replace 2 others which failed to stay connected and 'mounted' in my Android Phone. I'll not slam the others here, but I decided to go with the SanDisk card as I had great results with previous ones of smaller capacities I'd owned. I am not disappointed with this one either. It delivers as promised and stays connected. That is what we consumers should expect. It did cost about $10 more, but is definitely worth it since the less expensive competitive Micro SD cards I tried would not stay connected, nor write to the cards reliably.... I say go with a proven and reliable Brand Name. That does not just mean SanDisk, but any brand you have had success with.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I don't love these cards. they may be OK for stills, but we shoot 4k time lapse. and these cards don't seem to be able to ingest the data fast enough... In my experience they over heat, and that shuts down the camera. To be fair. I LOVE the SanDisk 64GB cards and the 64's have NEVER failed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Storage Media For GoPros And DSLRs This is the second 128GB microSDXC I've bought, primarily for our GoPro HERO 2 and 4 models to provide added capacity and video runtime. They also get used in our DSLRs. GoPro rates the HERO 2 as only being able to handle a 32GB card. However, using the SD Adapter that comes with the microSDXC allows for a total video time of 10 hours (9:59 shows on LCD screen) dependent on resolution chosen. Have also found the 128GB microSDXC works in the HERO 2 with Kingston SD Adapters but not with all San Disk SD Adapters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy a couple for dedicated Shoots Fast enough for Active multi-Photo shots in RAW formats, to maximize camera capabilities. Recommend buying a couple at these rices for dedicating shots for clients or personal shots. Rarely have problem with SanDisk compared to competitors, so definitely worth the extra few dollars. Currently, this is the cheapest microSD/GB
